Children's Fishing Derby
The Park's annual Children's Fishing Derby is all about kids having an opportunity to fish with a grown-up at in the Park's stocked pond. The Derby is FREE and open to all children ages 2 to 16. All you have to do is bring your own fishing pole, the Park will furnish the bait. A hot dog lunch will be served afterwards. Trophies awarded in 3 age brackets and door prizes given away.
Date: Saturday, June 8
Registration Starts: 9 AM
Fishing Starts: 10 AM
Fee: FREE
Ages: 2 - 16 yrs.

Lady Lightning Basketball Skills Academy
GPD is excited to host the Illinois Lady Lightning Basketball skills clinics and coaches. Girls basketball clinics conducted by Coach Tim Kohn and the Lady Lightning Basketball organization. Sessions focus on skill development including ball handling, passing, footwork and shooting.
Date: Mondays, June 3 - 24
Times/Grades: 5:15 - 6:15 pm ; Grades 3 - 5
Times/Grades: 6:15 - 7:15 pm ; Grades 6 - 8
Fee: $40 ea. per session

Duct Tape
Duct tape art - it’s the latest! Did you know you can make a prom dress, phone cover, wallet, flowers and more with duct tape? Bring your scissors, cutting mats and imagination to create fun and unique art!

Godley Park District Cookbook
We have extended the deadline for submission of recipes for the Godley Park
District Cookbook! Help us make this book a success. You may submit as
many recipes as you would like! Forms are available at the front desk.
Proceeds to benefit the Friends of Godley Park District Animals.
